How do I choose the right course and university?
Choosing the right course and university depends on your academic background, interests, career goals, and budget. The counseling team carefully understands each studentâs future plans and recommends suitable universities and programs that match their goals and qualifications.
Is IELTS or any English test mandatory?
English language requirements vary depending on the country and university. Many universities require tests like IELTS, PTE, or TOEFL, while some institutions may offer waivers or accept alternative qualifications. The consultancy guides students on which test is most suitable and helps them understand the required scores.
Does the consultancy help with visa processing?
Yes. Visa processing is one of the most important parts of studying abroad, and students receive complete visa guidance. This includes document preparation, financial documentation support, application review, and interview preparation to help improve visa approval chances.
How long does the study abroad process take?
The process duration depends on the country, university intake, and student preparation. In most cases, the complete process â from counseling to visa approval â may take a few weeks to several months. Students are encouraged to start early for better university and scholarship opportunities.
Are scholarships available for international students?

What is the difference between IELTS and PTE?
IELTS is offered in paper or computer format, and the Speaking test is a face-to-face interview with an examiner. PTE is fully computer-based, including the Speaking section, which is recorded and scored by AI. PTE results are usually available within two days, while IELTS results take 3 to 5 days. Both are accepted by universities and visa authorities in most countries. The best choice depends on your strengths, and our counselors help you decide.
Which countries accept PTE scores?
PTE Academic is accepted for study and visa purposes in Australia, the UK, Canada, New Zealand, Ireland, and by thousands of universities in the USA and other countries. IELTS is accepted everywhere PTE is, and in a few places where PTE is not. Always confirm the specific requirement of your university before booking your test.
How long does the student visa process take?
There is no fixed timeline because it depends on the country and how complete your documents are. On average, an Australian student visa takes 4 to 8 weeks, a UK student visa 3 to 5 weeks, and a Canadian study permit can take 8 to 12 weeks or more. Preparing accurate documents on the first attempt is the best way to avoid delays, and we guide you through every step so your file is complete before submission.
What documents do I need to study abroad?
You will generally need your academic transcripts and certificates, a valid passport, an English test score such as IELTS or PTE, a letter of acceptance from the university, a Statement of Purpose (SOP), financial documents proving you can afford tuition and living costs, and passport-size photos. The exact list depends on the country and institution. We provide a complete document checklist during your first counseling session.
How much does it cost to study abroad?
Costs vary widely by country and course. Tuition typically ranges from AUD 20,000 to 45,000 per year in Australia, GBP 15,000 to 35,000 in the UK, and CAD 18,000 to 40,000 in Canada. Living costs add a significant amount per year in local currency. Scholarships and part-time work can reduce this significantly, and we help you build a realistic budget before you commit.
Can I work while studying abroad?
Yes. In Australia you can work up to 48 hours per fortnight, in the UK up to 20 hours per week during term time, and in Canada up to 20 hours per week. Most countries allow full-time work during holidays. Working can help with living costs, but your primary focus should be your studies because visa rules strictly require you to maintain satisfactory academic progress.
What is the post-study work situation after graduation?
Australia offers a post-study work visa of 2 to 4 years, the UK offers a 2-year Graduate visa (3 years for PhD holders), and Canada offers a Post-Graduation Work Permit of up to 3 years. These visas allow you to stay and work after your degree, and in Australia and Canada they can be a pathway toward permanent residency. The rules change from time to time, so we recommend discussing your long-term plan with a counselor.
What support does AIC provide after my visa is approved?
Our support continues after visa approval. We guide you on accommodation, travel arrangements, student life, cultural adjustment, and everything you need to know before moving abroad. Our goal is to make sure you arrive prepared, settled, and confident in your new country.
